Hurricane reminder...

Hurricane season is here. June 1st was the start of Hurricane season. Often people get complacent and don't really give it much thought, but I am here to tell you it's very important to be prepared. It only takes a little time to get yourself prepared.

We are going to officially pack our Hurricane boxes this week. We thought we would share a few things we pack and you might want to put a box together too.

1.  Copies of Shot Records (for the animals) and license information
2. Small first aid kit, vet wrap and ointments
3. Can opener - non electric
4. 2 cans of Pure Pumpkin
5. Spray bottle filled with Listerine
6. Micro towels
7. Extra water and food bowls
8. Medications if possible. If not when the warning comes, order some.
9. Extra leash and toys
10. Roll of paper towels
11. Food should be packed upon warning
12. Vaseline, Nail Polish, socks/shoes for paws, peroxide
13. Baby Wipes, Tushy Wipes and Dog Wash wipes
14. Poop bags and small scooper.
15. Garbage bags.
16. EXTRA CELL PHONE - TRACFONE only for Hurricane Stuff. 

Make sure if you are in an evacuation area, you know where you can go with your animals. Start looking now and keep a list in your box of where you can go, and phone numbers. Start making your list now...
