Back to being just Gunner

The party is over and we are getting back to normal.  We hope everyone had a great time dressing up and having fun. We started this little party to have fun and raise a little money for our friend Lola who was left to die. No joke, this was the worst situation. I hope everyone got their treat boxes that signed up for them.

The winners in each category are getting their prizes sent to them as well... Those outfits were amazing. Sorry I was a jerk about mine, and I guess you can tell my behavior hasn't improved. I'm in timeout until 2015.

Can you indulge me a moment to thank some very special people...

Sam - ArtisticBulldog, you are amazing and wonderful, I would walk on dirty qtips for you!
Rocco- You have been my best buddy, my mate, my pal. You have been awesome!
Theo- Thank you for stopping what you were doing to always support me, and I am so sorry you got grief for your costume, you are the coolest dude around.
Beauregard- You Mom rocks with calming my nutso Mom down
Deuce- Dude it wouldn't be the same without you. You are my Ambassador !!!
JPep- Thanks for listening when the ole Mommy went bat poop cray cray.

Then the biggest thanks of all is to those of you who were there, who gave money when I know it was tough, I sincerely know it was hard to do. You brought my friend Lola back and she has a lot of life left in her. Not many would take on an 8 maybe 9 year old with that much medical.

We are not finished, but I don't want your eyes leaky. We are getting started with Rufus' Rascals Foundation that will hopefully fund and help animals everywhere that need a little extra. Help with medical bills, bring joy to our world, not just bulldogs, but our friends everywhere.

Halloween party

We are eagerly working hard with all our resources to make sure everyone gets a great treat bag. We are NOT sending out any kinds of jerky or items that are made in China. As you know from Rocco's birthday party favor bag, they were gourmet specialty treats. We have gone through each and every product. I am thankful to have a small staff from my real world business to do this with My Mom.

Animal safety is first. If you are not comfortable with our treats please let me know, and I will scratch your name from the list.

Mommy thinks Friday is a good day to cut off the Treat Bag deadline. This does NOT include the costume party. You can register the day before so we can get you on the poll.

The deadline for the Costume party is October 28th 2013... You have plenty of time to get your costumes ready.

Miss Samantha of Artistic Bulldog has donated her portrait prize on behalf of Lola_Bully. This is a great grand prize!!! We thank her from the bottom of our hearts. She is truly amazing.

One portrait is never enough I say, so even if you want to win, you might want to get another one done as well... All my Daddy's have this on their wish list for Christmas. Santa told me!!!

Halloween Party Categories outlined...

Best Male is for Male Dog Category

Best Female is for Female Dog Category

Best NonDog is for our Twitter friends like Jeff Musk Turtle, and Killer Parrott

Best Group/Couple is for If you have a pack of dogs you want to put in one picture. Or if you are a couple, example would be Theo and Rosie or Rocco and Lola, like two dogs or a group.

Best Family would be you and your dog or like Henry Ford and Collins, or Rocco and Harper (they are the kids of the dog family)

I am dressing up as Cruella DeVille so if I was going to be judged, Gunner and I would be in best family.

But if I dressed Gunner and another dog up in the same picture, they would go in Best Group/Couple.

The Grand Prize Winner is going to be in a separate category all on it's own.

Each Category will get a prize basket with cool things.

The Grand Prize Winner will get a Professional Portrait by Artistic Bulldog!

Recap: The Halloween Costume party is happening on the 29th of October. 7-9 pm. I know it's early but we have some that go to school, work and need to get to bed.

The Grand Prize is going to be judged by a professional in the animal industry. The others will be by poll unless you would like the Grand Prize by poll too... Getting back to some sort of normal

Mom and I have had a lot going on since the accident. We are trying to get our grove back, and I think we may be coming to an end of all that stuff.

Her pains are still there, but her treatment has changed a lot. We are getting our house ready for the fall decorations and upcoming holidays. We are big holiday people. I have tried no less than 7 costumes for halloween.

Our Bulldog club is hosting a big meeting this month and Mommy is helping out. I am staying home, and I am quite sure my Mom wishes she was staying with me.

My foster sister that has diabetes is really having some issues, she is having to go to the Dog Doc for other issues. I am crossing my paws that I stay healthy, cause we don't want to visit the vet unless it's for fun.

Next week we will start the Halloween treat bags being mailed out. I will post about the Halloween Costume Party again, but this is my blog and it's time to take it back and make it about me!!!

We get our last photo session pictures in a couple of weeks, I am quite sure we are going again for photos. We are not happy.

January I am suppose to shoot my part of the movie I am in. I am just hoping it goes big, I would love to be on the BIG Screen.

This week is National Vet Tech's Appreciation week. If you love your Vet Tech, tell them!! They will appreciate it!
